What is the beginning? And how was the end?

My dream was to have a role in documenting and reminding the new generation of our precious heritage, so that they would learn about it and be proud of it as I am. This is when I was given the opportunity to create these figures, which took me a long time to make. The eight-month project resulted in 205 figures of varying sizes, all made from a single strand of wool, and 15 models for suitable backgrounds, conveying a glimpse of the past with all their details.

Even the small parts and special details in these projects were handcrafted by me, taking a lot of time and effort to perfect the colors, sizes, and details.

These photos show you a glimpse into my private workshop where I created these figures.

What is Heritage?
Definition of heritage and its importance:

Folklore is the customs and traditions of people, and the opinions, ideas, and feelings they express, passed down from generation
to generation.

The largest portion of folklore consists of folk tales, such as poems, sung poems, folk tales of jinn, heroic stories, and myths. Folklore also includes arts and crafts, dances, games, amusements, songs or poetic tales for children, proverbs, riddles and puzzles, mythical concepts, and religious celebrations and holidays.

Heritage, in its simplest sense, is the sum of what previous generations have left behind (inherited) for current generations. Heritage is what our ancestors left behind as a lesson from the past and a path from which our children can draw lessons to guide them from the present to the future. Heritage in civilization is like the roots of a tree; the deeper and more deeply rooted the roots are, the stronger, more resilient, and more capable the tree is of facing the vicissitudes of time. From a scientific perspective, it is a cultural science in its own right that specializes in a specific sector of culture (traditional or popular culture) and sheds light on it from historical, geographical, social, and psychological perspectives.
